unwanted duplicate home page

  • Good Day Eh . . .
    I somehow managed to duplicate my home page, trying to get rid of a post on my original home page that I wanted on a separate posts page that I had created. The home page does not show when I select “all pages”. I would like to put text on the home page that is not a post. . . .HELP
