Adding Plugin Gives Me White Screen of Death

    This plugin was working fine. I decided to upgrade to WP 3.8.1 and I got the white screen of death. After removing plugins I was able to narrow it down to this plugin causing the issue. To try and fix everything I downgraded back to WP 3.7.1 but everytime I go to activate this plugin I still get the white screen. I talked to the theme developer and they said that I should check with you. The theme I’m working on is politician

    Any help would greatly be appreciated.

  • Did you try it with a default theme? Twenty Thirteen or Fourteen?

    I don’t know why I didn’t try that. It installs fine with 2014 so I’m assuming that means it’s something with the theme right?

    Yes that’s likely the problem, you might take it up with the developer of the commercial theme.

    TellStevens: sorry to hear you have hit difficulties here, but yes, if it works with a default theme then (at least here on the free support forum) there’s not much else we can do to help.

    Of course if the theme author relays any information suggesting there is a bug on our side please do feel free to share it and we’ll certainly look into it.
