installing adsense code

I’m trying to change the adsense blocks on my blog. Got the code installed through my dashboard, and the size of the block changed, but the ad won’t display. i had a problem deleting old posts, and I discovered wp-supercache was the problem. had to “delete cache” before post would disappear. Does w-sc have a similar control on adsense code entered through the appearance mode?
I have a Graphene theme.
