• When you install WP in a subdirectory, but the site runs in root, example:
    WP install directory: mysite.com/subdirectory
    Access site through: mysite.com

If you choose to use the BWPS HackRepair Black List it creates a .htaccess file in the subdirectory and modifies that. The functional .htaccess is in the root.

Is it OK to simply copy the contents of the BWPS created .htaccess file to the .htaccess file in root? Are there any settings in BWPS to adjust so it works properly when WP is installed in a subdirectory.
