Featured Post doesnt work – cannot tick it

Hello,
Since I’ve update WordPress to 3.8.1, I cannot tick featured posts during editing my posts. I click on featured post on homepage, click “Publicize” and tickbox is empty. I dont want to upgrade the theme, because I edited it a lot, so can somebody tell me what should I do to make this thing work?

Moreover – I’ve made a post on TravelBlogger Support Forum, but noone answered since sunday.
