• How do you get rid of the text inside the field box when you start typing? For example, “enter name here” stays there even when someone starts to type their name there. The only reason this is an issue is because I required the name and phone number and since the text I put in there stays there, it goes through even when the user doesn’t actually input their own information.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Okay that solves the problem of the text disappearing when you start typing. How do you get it to recognize that the user didn’t type anything? I added an * to text field to make it a required field. However, I’m still able to hit the submit button without typing anything in. It sends the message successfully.

    Can I see the form?

Both of the fields are required. If you just hit the submit button, it allows it to send it blank. However, if you hit it a second time, it doesn’t go through and ask that you fill in the fields. I’m trying to not let them be able to hit the button the first time until they have filled out the required fields.

Thanks so much for your help!

OK. I checked the site. It is definitely a theme issue. Try switching to another theme.
