After upgrading to wp 3.8.1. the wp-admin leaves me with a blank page.
The front end works fine. The toolbar does not work anymore either as the url’s have wp-admin in their paths.

My host suggested that it may be related to my PaidMembershipsPro plugin, which I cannot deactivate as I can’t get to the dashboard.

The site is mugswinnipeg.org The theme is twentyeleven

Please help me with this, if you can.
Thanks for any assistance you may be able to offer!

Using whatever file manager you might have available at your host account cPanel, you could navigate to your wp-content/plugins/ folder and temporarily rename that specific plugin’s own folder to deactivate it. Or, another way to do that could be by using a program such as FileZilla and FTP (or preferably SFTP) access.

    Thank you for your help.
I will await a guru to help me do this.
My hosting server folk (MacHighway.com) have now refused to help me with this as it is a “coding issue.”
    Kind regards,
    P.M.

I had nothing to loose, so I did as you suggested and renamed the plugin paidmembershipspro.
    Voila, it worked!!!
Shall I now delete the renamed file in c-panel and/or the paidpro in the dashboard?
    You have been very helpful!
    Very much appreciated!

You can certainly delete that folder if you wish to abandon that plugin, but that does not mean everything related to it (a separate matter) will also be deleted from your database. So overall, it might be best to look for a bit of support here:
