Tilted gallery / mosaic – problem w/ link to none

Hello all!

I’m a big fan of Jetpack’s tilted gallery but encounter one problem:
Although I have my gallery settings set to “link to none” the individual pictures link to the file on the server. Is there any way I could disable the links? I simply want to showcase pictures without them linking anywhere.

Would appreciate any advice!
