Hi guys, I updated your plugin and my site backend disappeared as one of the posts stated, not only that but my whole website was disfigured. I immediately went into my ftp and deleted your plugin and everything returned back to normal with the exception of some of the moderator rights.

I would like to know how to return everything back to normal once your plugin is removed. I am fearful of how your plugin is reacting with my website, and if i do reinstall it, I would like to know that I have the luxury to uninstall it without having any issues. Ie. preferably if you guys had a reset button for all moderator roles.

  • Hi FashionGHANA,
    Check this topic https://wpaam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3.

AAM does not affect any settings unless you changed them. I can’t give you any other information because I do not know the details of your case.

Ok, but it says the topic doesnt exist.

Basically, what happened was I upgraded, after doing so, my backend disappeared, and my website was disfigured. So I went to the ftp to remove it. After removing it, the backend and website was retored to normality. But It wont allow any of the editors to log in.

Therefore I am assuming I have to reinstall the plugin. But then the upgrade is goin to mess with the website. So what I am asking is if in the near future, there is no support, or there is a problem, can’t there be a reset function that will totally remove all setting by aam, becus it is the only plugin where when deleted the website is still affected by its alterations.

    Hey FashionGHANA,

I had success installing the dev version listed towards the bottom of this thread. Just install it and you should be good to go.
