Tax/BTW not showing right

    Hello,
    The taxes in my shop aren’t showing the way they should be.
    I live in The Netherlands so the taxes is 21%, also for the shipping.

    When I select something in my store, the total amount taxes isn’t calculated right. For example:

    Product €9,90
    Shipping €1,90
    Total: €11,80
    Taxes: €1,72

    If taxes are calculated for the total price it should be €2,47.
    If it was calculated without shipping it should be €2,07.
    I really can’t find the solution to this problem or how the taxes are being calculated.
    I already tried changing settings in Taxes and Shipping but it’s not working.

  • No, the taxes are actually correct. In this example, the taxes are not calculated on the shipping though. Assuming prices are including taxes as usually in The Netherlands.

    21% of € 9,90 (121% including taxes) = 1,718181818, which is rounded up to € 1,72.

    You can set the taxes to be included on the shipping via the Tax settings.
