Customers able to order out of Stock Item with inventory set to 0

  • I have inventory enabled on my products and I have “Show out-of-stock products in the catalog” unchecked, plus I have my inventory amount set to “0” yet my customers are still able to order items when “variants” is not used.

    If you click on Select an option and then attempt to select that option the no stock or “Sold Out” works just fine and you are unable to select the item.
    But if you click on the “Add to Cart” for the Pay your Deposit option, which is not a variant, you can add the item to the cart. I have checked and re-checked that the inventory amount is set to “0” and that Inventory check box has a check mark in it.

    What am I missing here ?
