  • You can use widgets but I don’t think 2012 gives you a widgetized area there. If it doesn’t you’ll have to use custom code.

    Twenty Twelve doesn’t have a widgetised area in the header space. I am battling with this at the moment and although I can place the icons where I want them it pushes everything else down.

    I am also curious about this. This seems to be a big topic concerning your plugin. I use the origami theme. If someone can take us through how to custom code this into a theme that does not widgetize the header will be extremely helpful.

    Unfortunately this would be very specific to each theme. If you are using a commercial theme you might ask the developers to provide a way but keep in mind this is a very peculiar and not standardized requirement for most themes so you can’t really expect to be able to do so in all themes without some development knowledge.
