My website is set to upload media files in another directory (/photos) and not in the default one (/wp-content/uploads); the Media Files Manager doesn’t show any files but is able to create new subfolders under /photos.

When I changed the settings so that the default uploads folder (/wp-content/uploads) is used the plugin started working fine.

Is this a bug or is it just that the plugin doesn’t support custom uploads directory?

    Sorry, my fault.
The plugin works fine even if a custom uploads directory is used.
My problem had to do with the number of files already present in the custom uploads folder that caused a timeout error.
