is it true that Graphene theme is obsolete?

  • I’ve been told that I will need to change my theme, Graphene, because it is no longer being updated along with WP updates. Is this true? Oh, goodness, I hope not.
    If it is true, does anyone know of a similar theme that is also safe?

  • It was last updated in September, not that long ago.
    It also has a very active support forum on the developers website.
    If the person/people that said you NEED to change it are some kind of development or design firm, Just say “Thank you for not being honest with me, it has helped make the decision not to go with your company.”

    Thanks for that info. Actually, my friend has no affiliation with any company’s services regarding web design, etc. She was not able to update her own graphene site and heard through some grapevine that it was because they are not keeping up with changes. hmmmm…..
    I wonder if anyone else knows something we don’t?

    If she has trouble updating, she should search that forum; there have been a few similar topics over the past few months.

    Graphene is currently at 1.9.2; an upgrade to 1.9.3 is currently in the works.
