Can not update or save new page

  • I had created a test page for my home page about a week ago. Today as I went to make some changes to it and spruce it up, I am unable to make changes and have the page update.

    When I add new widgets and click update I get a blank page.

    Same thing happens when I try and preview the page.

    I am using the most current version I believe it was 1.4.3.
    I actually uninstalled it the just re-downloaded and installed again.

    Same thing.
    A bit of a bummer as I was very excited about using this plug in.

    If someone can help me get it working I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hi Rick

    Can you confirm which version of WordPress you’re using? So far I’ve only been able to pinpoint an update issue that effects older versions of WordPress.

    OK, so you’re up to date. Next thing, do you have any plugins installed besides Page Builder? Could you give me a list?

    If you’re really feeling helpful, you could try deactivate your plugins one by one, and see if disabling any specific plugin fixes the issue.

    Also, what browser are you using? Maybe this is browser related.

    Just tried to update the test page via firefox and it worked just fine.
    I was using Chrome originally.

    Not sure if it just fixed itself or if in fact it is browser related.

    The only new plug in I installed prior to this not working was woocommerce and I believe WP Hide Post.

    It was working fine in Chrome before that.

    Not sure if all that helps but if there is some other info you want or need let me know.

    I also just discovered I can use PB 1.4.3 and WP 3.8.1 with Firefox but not with Chrome.

    I have the same problema even with Firefox. I’m up to date with wordpress and all plugins. When I add a text widget and I update the page, the text widget appears blank, without the text I wrote, although in the preview page I can see it.

    If you could all provide me with Javascript errors you’re getting with the browsers that are misbehaving, that’d be a huge help in figuring out what’s going on.
