    Hello Prasunsen,

I have installed and uninstalled the plugin twice to try and eliminate an issue I am having. When subscribing I get the notification email of subscription and the first email (0 days after subscription) just fine.

However, when I look in the tables for the email address… it is not there. I then enter the users info into the subscription form again and voila… now it shows up in the tables?? I am not using double optin…

Any idea on how I may resolve this?
When deleting the plugin, does it delete all the data too? If not… how do I delete every vestige of the plugin so a fresh install is indeed fresh?

I like the plugin and would upgrade to PRO when I am sure it is working as I need it to.

    Thanks… Pete.

Are you seeing the subscribers in your Mailing list page? Which DB table are you looking at?

    Hi Prasunsen,

I received the notification of subscription email and decided to ensure they were in the list. No I did not see them in the mailing list in WordPress so I went looking for them in the table “wp_8pgdyg_bft_users”.

They were not in the table either so I manually entered three of them from the sign up form created in BFT and they then appeared in both the WordPress mailing list and the last three records in the table “wp_8pgdyg_bft_users” immediately.

Thus I figure I have something wrong in my install ??

    Don’t know much about this…. ??

    Any suggestions?

    Pete.

Unfortunately I cannot guess the problem. If you are ready to share your admin login I’ll have a look. My email is admin at pimteam dot net.

Otherwise the only thing I can suggest is to re-activate the plugin.

    Hi Prasunsen,

I gave you access to my site as requested… I then received notification of your subscribing to the site and I checked the mailing list in WordPress. You are not there.

So I went looking for you in the table “wp_8pgdyg_bft_users”.

You are not in the table either. I’ve left it all alone for now pending your viewing and suggestions…..

Thanks for taking the time to look….

I think you are mixing subscribing as user to your blog and subscribing to your mailing list. I had a look at your mailing list. The page is full of subscribers. I signed up myself and I am there.

Subscribing to your blog is not the same as subscribing to your mailing list.

    Hi Prasunsen,

I appreciate your looking and signing up…

In your email to me you mention I may be confusing WordPress Registered Users with BFT Registered Users and that I need to have a form for BFT subscribers. I do have a BFT Form in the right side sidebar. I also have no way for people to register for the blog through the “wordpress register” as I unchecked register in wordpress when I installed BFT. The 37 wordpress users have always been there until I implemented the BFT signup form.

Question : Did u sign up through my form on the blog or from the admin area for the mailing list? Signing up from the admin area works fine…

I just checked the tables and yes you are there. I also checked the tables for the latest three registrants (after your sign up) from the sign up form and they are not there…

Ok….. Have we exhausted all the trouble shooting ideas to try and solve this?

    Again… I appreciate your help efforts….

I signed up from admin, did not know I had to signup from the form. I just signed up with another email. I have no way to check now whether I am in or not.

    Hi Prasunsen,

I’ve reinstated your admin rights so feel free to sign into my site and look around…. I just checked the mailing list and the tables and your latest sign in does not appear to be in either location. I did however receive a “blank” subscription notification from the blog signup form.

I also deactivated and reactivated the plugin per your suggestion.

Also, to backup a bit… my day 0 auto responder email came to me OK but Day 1 has not come out….

    Frustrating to say the least…

    Any suggestions ?

    Pete.

Apparently the reactivation has resolved it. I just signed up from the form (user ZZZ Test) and I am in.
