Editor adds extra html elements to existing text

  • With either the Rich Text or plain text editor mode, I get extra html elements to the existing text (description field). I have seen ul, br, and nbsp added each time the post is saved.

    Also, if in Rich Text mode, I also will loose any embedded media.

    I am using the free version and wouldn’t mind going PRO, but want to make sure I get this fixed first.

    Ideas?
