{iptc:headline} does not work

But, as far as I can see using both Adobe Bridge and the open source exiv2 tool (https://www.exiv2.org/) this photo contains no IPTC metadata.

Year, sorry, I that was a hang-up on my part. The metadata has been optimized away. Can you give a mail address? Then I will send you an unprocessed picture.

I prepared an image file for mailing to you. When I uploaded it (just to be sure) the {iptc:headline} was read correctly. I don’t know what happened the last time. If the problem occurs again, I’ll send you that specific picture.
