Previously, I have had no issues logging into my site; but for the last couple or days (or perhaps a week), logging into my site brings up a 404 error. Now, to be clear, the login does work and I can get to the admin panel fine. It’s just the initial login that takes users to a 404 error page.

My Website homepage is https://newsbynight.net and login should be taking users there. Login is loading this page: https://newsbynight.net/vwpnews/, which produces a 404. I have no page called vwpnews. It’s the WordPress installation address. I haven’t made any recent changes to this address nor to my homepage address. To be sure, I have double-checked the URL settings under Settings > General. The WordPress URL is set to https://newsbynight.net/vwpnews/ (which I believe it should be, given that it is the installation address?), and the site address is set to https://newsbynight.net.

I used myphp to check the database and these addresses are the same in there. I also went into Permalinks and re-saved the permalinks just incase that somehow affected it.

Lastly, I have de-activated every one of my plugins in an attempt to fix the issue and it had no effect. I’m at a loss for what else I should try. :/
