Shortcodes don't insert in custom post type edit boxes

Running WordPress 3.8, using the free zeeBizCard theme and the GameOn plugin.
I can insert custom Shortcode Pro shortcodes on pages and posts with no problems. However, on the custom post type (Quests) that Game On uses, I am unable to use Shortcode Pro to insert shortcodes. It goes through the motions of collecting the attributes (ie: popup works fine) but when I click the Insert button, nothing happens. No code (nor anything) is inserted into the edit boxes. There are 4 for each quest, and this doesn’t work in any of them.
Is there anything I can do to get it working? I really appreciate the functionality in my Post and Pages editors and would love to have it available in the Quests, too.
