• Hey guys, I need some help. I’m trying to get WordPress set up on a server where they have me jump through several loops.

First, the server is using cgiwrap to hide some of the server information. Also, what I have to do is to keep all my php scripts in a php directory. If i want subdirectories in that main php directory, I have to create a directory with the same name in public_html.

Here’s an example:

/public_html/
——/php/
———/wp-admin/
————admin.php
————index.php
———/wp-content/
————/plugins/
————/themes/
——index.php
———wp-settings.php
——/wp-admin/
———/images/
————box-bg.gif
———list-manipulations.js
——/wp-content/
———/plugins/
———/themes/
`etc.
(It’s basically set up so that ALL PHP FILES are in the php directory and ALL OTHER FILES are under the public_html directory)

So I’ve gotten WordPress installed so far, but there are some problems here and there. For example, I cannot change themes; basically, it cannot find any themes.

Another problem is that all my links are usually just set up as https://<website>/?<parameters>. I’d like to set it up so that it specifically states that it should be loading index.html. Is this easily doable?

Thanks guys.
