[Initial Question] Provider: Bluehost – My Domain is: “www.cal-zona.com” We have our domain with Wild west domain and they say we have to renew thru wordpress but wordpress dosen’t do that. I got an email from you saying

your domain to Bluehost and renew it using the link below: I clicked on the link and was told I had to renew with Wild west. None of this makes sense. We want our domain thru you, how do we do this? Thank you Stephanie

(12:47) [Jameson T.] Wild west is the registrar, but they handle all registrations for wordpress, so either story might be true here. WordPress.com should be able to handle the renewal for you, and would be who you would speak to in order to get the EPP code needed to transfer the domain to us.

(12:50) [Stephanie] Ill have to ask my partner, she did it, but I think so.
(12:53) [Jameson T.] If you bought it directly through them, you would get it from them. It sounds like you may have spoken to someone on their end, who made assumptions (like I did) and got confused because of the special relationship between them and wordpress.com
(12:54) [Jameson T.] if you’ve never had a wordpress.com account, try contacting wild west again, and make sure you don’t mention wordpress at all, to avoid confusion.
