Problems posting a wordpress link on linkedin

  • When I try and copy a link from my wordpress site to linkedin it only shows the website name not the image or content of the post. My other wordpress website works perfectly. Please can you tell me any ways I can troubleshoot this. Both websites post to facebook no problem. I have googled the issue and it appears to be a common problem.

    I have read nearly every forum on the web, including security features, SEO. I would really appreciate some help as I am currently stuck.

    I have even contacted Linkedin directly they say its a problem with my site and to contact wordpress.
