Getting an error occasionally – Please help

  • Hi guys,

    I am new to WordPress, installed W3 Total cache today, configured its settings reading a blog tutorial. Everything was fine until now. I get an error every 15-20 minutes as I click between pages within my WordPress dashboard. This is the error:

    W3 Total Cache error:It appears Minify URL rewriting is not working. Please verify that the server configuration allows .htaccess
    Unfortunately minification will not function without custom rewrite rules. Please ask your server administrator for assistance. Also refer to the install page for the rules for your server.

    Would appreciate any help. Please let me know what should be done. Thanks!

    I am getting the same error message on the dashboard of my plugins. If anyone has any ideas that would be great!! (Also a newbie – keeping it as simple as possible!)
