My front page displays post without title.

    As simple as that eh? Makes me look a dill, lol.
    Can you also tell me how to activate the sidebar please?

    On your dashboard go to Appearance>Customize. On the right side of your screen you should have a list of items, one of which should be theme options. Here you should be able to set where your sidebar appears. Remember to save your changes.
