shortcode not working as the widget

Hi,
Nice plugin I must say. Thanks but the shortcode does not work the way widget works.
I added the shortcode [WPNEWSBULLETIN] but it does not create the function the widget does – no popup, no scrolling of the news.
Any idea on this?
