Now, my Own comment replies are not showing up on my blog even though they appear in my dashboard.

If I go into each post that comments are not displaying on and click Update, then the comment will appear. To clarify the above 1st message.. “Now, this message appears” means… my blog displays the message that I have comment moderation enabled ….when I do not have it enabled.

Comments from regular commenters are often landing in my spam folder.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Thanks for the ideas and help. I deactivated all my plugins and reactivated them one by one. JetPack is causing the “Comment moderation is enabled” to display. Akismet is causing comments written by readers or me when I reply to NOT display and then if I delete a comment, it deletes in wordpress, but not on my blog unless I go into the individual post and Update it.
Any suggestions as to how to get these two plugins to play nice? Is it a bug in those plugins?

What happened when you changed themes temporarily?

I did not change themes yet. I now deactivated and reactivated the plugins again, as the JetPack seemed to now not be causing the Comment Moderation is Enabled. This proves to be the WP Super Cache so I did a seperate post for help with that plugin. Sorry if that was wrong. Maybe all of this is WP Super Cache. If I make a change at all like change a widget or move a widget in the sidebar, I don’t see the change displayed for a long time.
