Minimize and IE8

I maintain a curling club web site and am looking for a theme like “minimize” to update the site to wordpress.

In that the majority of users accessing the site use IE and about half of those use IE8 (actually, the predominant IE browser used), my site needs to support IE8, regardless of any opinions about this browser.

Does this theme work sufficiently well with IE8 or should I pass on this theme to find another that does support IE8? It would be nice if themes here on www.remarpro.com would tell us what browsers are supported, along with the level of wordpress supported.
