Hi, also this goes for any other page I would like it to take to something else. Please help me. Thanks.

Sounds like you’d like the Redirectify plugin.

Hi, yea I knew about this plugin and have it uploaded to the wordpress, but the problem is I dont know how to do that of the advance field or something it has to do with it. There is no manual to go along with this either. So could you please tell me what do I have to put in the posts or wherever it goes and what fields to I add or whatever. Thanks.

You give up so easily. So, the instructions were on the first link I gave you.

To use it, add a custom field in the Advanced Editing panel named “redirect”. The value of the field should be the URL to redirect when that page is viewed.

Go to Write -> Write Page. Create a dummy page, no need to add content. Give it a title that matches where you want it to go. Say something like “Forums”.

Scroll down a bit. There’s a section there labeled “Custom Fields”. If it isn’t expanded, hit the little white “+” to do so.
Leave the left most combo box alone. Type “redirect” in the middle box, as the instructions say. Right most box is the URL you want to send folks to.

    Bingo. done.

Hi, it works now. I try to lookup anywhere I can for the info before I post, but I didnt get: add a custom field.
I didnt even know what a custom field was. Now that you point it out I can clearly understand it 100x better. Anyways thanks.

Glad you got it going. Mark this one as “Resolved”? (up at the top) Happy Blogging!
