how to ignore my url from a link

Hi,
I recently bought a wordpress template, where all links are starting with my url (ie. https://www.myurl.com/folders).

Now, I want to put a social medial link (ie. https://www.twitter.com) but it still writes it this way: https://www.myurl.com/www.twitter.com

Does anyone knows any simple way to correct it?

It might be a symbol that I can use on the widget “My – Social Networks” that make the specific link to ignores the initial ” https://www.myurl.com/” thing…
