Syntax error when copying functions.php to child theme

    Hi Thomas, whenever I copy functions.php or contens.php to my child theme, it results to syntax error, thus, I’m not able to modify codes in functions.php. Right now, I activated the parent theme. I also notice that parent theme loads way fast than the child theme.
