• I recently changed web hosts and a problem has appeared. The new webhost says it’s nothing to do with them. If you go here, you will see a strange error message.
    https://www.elenarosephotography.com/blog/

    The message says:
    home/elenar7/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 992

and if you copy and paste it into a txt doc, it appears like this:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(),
    called in /home/elenar7/public_html/wp-content/themes/elenarose/functions/core/core-functions.php
on line 81 and defined in /home/elenar7/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 992

Do you have any idea what this means or how I can fix it?

Many thanks – I sure appreciate your time!

  • Does the new host run the same version of php? How did you do the transfer? Sometimes files get missed or corrupted in transit. Try reinstalling a fresh copy of WP core files.
It only appears in blog type pages right? That provides a clue.
To further troubleshoot, try deactivating all plug ins and switching to a default WP theme to isolate any conflicts.
