    Hello,

My published posts are not pushing a tweet to twitter.

I am using Jetpack 2.7. When I go into the Publicize section and Configure I am shown the following for twitter:

    Connected as @xxxxxx (Shared) x
    Refresh Connection with Twitter
    Add New

If you try to delete the connection with the x, it simply reauthorizes you. lol

If you try to refresh the connection, it does so successfully, but you see the same thing and the tweet on publish doesn’t work.

When I go to compose a new post I see the following on the right side:

    Publicize: Twitter: @fortheinfonet Edit Settings
Before you hit Publish, please refresh the following connection(s) to make sure we can Publicize your post:
    Refresh connection with Twitter

I click that button and it does the same thing. Reauthorizes and then shows the warning again.

    A couple of off things:

    1) I have multiple twitter accounts, so I made sure to be only logged in to the one I wanted to use.
    2) I tried an entirely different browser with all cookies removed just in case WP is picking up on them.
    3) It works on another site of mine with the same twitter handle.

Any idea how to get it to work?

I did follow these directions, but still get the Refresh Connection error.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look at your Publicize settings?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Your site doesn’t seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Could you go to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnect then reconnect to WordPress.com?

If that doesn’t help, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!

Ok, I disconnected and reconnected. Received confirmation:

You’re fueled up and ready to go.
The features below are now active. Click the learn more buttons to explore each feature.

    The twitter still says refresh.

I tried the debug, but it didn’t work. I tried the debug from a site that does work with twitter through jetpack and got the same error in the debug. lol

    Here is the error

I tried the debug, but it didn’t work.

Could you use the link at the bottom of the Debug page to send us more details about your site?
    Thanks!
