You should update your .htaccess now.

  • Hi All,

    When i update my Permalink Structure, there is a message saying “You should update your .htaccess now.”

    What should i do? and what does it means?

  • is your .htaccess writeable?

    You should update your .htaccess now.

    Suggests that it isn’t. You may need to find your .htaccess in your root folder (via FTP for quick and easy) and make it CHMOD writeable (777) then go back to permalink page and click save and your permalinks should be updated.
