• Hi, everyone ??
So I’m at a loss here. I moved our child theme from my testing server to my employer’s production server, and while we’ve smoothed out most of the kinks, we’re still having some weird problems.

For one, the nav bar at the top only shows us a literal listing of our pages, as opposed to any of the legitimate menus we have. This makes our nav some 80-something items long, and rather ridiculous looking. I’ve messed with our front page template, but to no avail.

The other big pickle (also on the front page) has to do with our main content area widgets. We use a right sidebar (which displays fine), and there are a series of widgets to their left that display upcoming events and recent posts, etc. The widget appears on the back end, it’s in the functions.php and the markup for the front page template, but it never displays.

Any ideas? We’ve been hacking away at this for the better part of the day, and I’m sad to say we’re running out of avenues.

Oh, one more thing: I would provide a link, but the site is in maintenance mode unless you’re logged in :/ The testing server, however, is https://ratmak.com.

Thanks so much for your time!

    Best wishes,

    Tom.

    Alright, quick update.

I switched back to vanilla Customizr, and that fixed our nav problem. Something’s awry somewhere in my child theme, then, and I’m not positive where that’d be. header.php? Also, why did it work on one server and not on the other? Maybe I’ll re-migrate the child theme.

Note, however, that the main content area is still devoid of widgetary goodness :/

Widget: do you have the same plugins on the new server? Have you tried deactivating them?
