Set NextGEN featured image Issue

When I try to insert the image of a NextGEN gallery as a featured image of a Post, I get a popup showig only the first 10 images of it and cannot navigate thru the rest of the gallery. This was working before the present version of WordPress, Italian Language adaptation.
