Cannot make it to work on twentyfourteen default WordPress Theme

    Never mind, sorry it was my fault

    Widget was containing only one word so I could not even see it because twentyfourteen has a fixed menu bar so the widget was fixed too but hidden behind the main menu bar

    I changed the margin top and everything works just fine
