Installation failed

    I was about to install the plugin on my site when it said, “Installation Plugin install failed.
    Destination folder already exists. /home/heal…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wptouch/

    Please help. How can I reinstall the plugin?

    Can I delete the folder from FTP site?

  • Do you see an entry for WPtouch in your WordPress Plugins admin page? If so, you should be able to upgrade from there.

    If it is not listed, then yes, you could delete the plugin folder (you may want to back it up first) and perform a new installation.
