Warning message on WP login page of website

  • Only the following warning message appears on my website’s WP login page [www.adithrigroup.com/wp-admin/]:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/adithrig/public_html/wp-content/themes/fragrance/functions.php:20) in /home/adithrig/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 896

    I can’t even log in to try to deactivate plugins and try something out.

    How do resolve this?

  • You will need to use FTP or web host provide file management tool to access site files. Contact your host, if unsure of your host login or FTP credentials.

    Once there, review line 20 of your theme’s functions.php file (best to backup current file and replace file with unedited version).
