• Hi Alex – sorry for being a pain – I can’t seem to find where to select the sharing services – I’m not really interested in pinterest, and would rather offer G+. Would you point me in the right direction?

Ok – found it in the ‘Edit Themes’ section, and though the G+ is marked as ‘true’ it’s still not showing – also (pushing my luck here) is there any way of getting it to display at the bottom of the post instead of the side?

    Hey there!

If you check the Help dropdown in theme options you will see:

Q: Why are social sharing buttons missing Google Plus? — A: You need to enable urlCurl on your server for G+ to work. Ask your webhost to do so. If you are unable to, you can disable the buttons and use any other plugin instead.

Also, if cURL is enabled already, it is probably running in safe_mode which won’t work. It’s a specific thing that is required for the G+ button only. So if urlCurl is not enabled, it won’t show up.

Thanks Alex – I have a new problem now – the default theme has an image displaying above the page title (https://demo.alxmedia.se/hueman/demo/layouts/default/)
How do I choose this post style so I can put images above post titles?

This happens automatically if you set a featured image for a page. It will appear there. Caption for the image will appear as large text (needs to be short), and the description field for the image will appear below.

Thanks for getting back to me Alex – so this is for pages only, and not posts?

    Alex,
How I can disable sharing buttons from single posts?

Hi Alex – the ‘add featured image’ method certainly works in the 2012 theme (https://pondlife.org/test-title-image/), but in Hueman the exact same selection results in the image appearing below the title (https://digitaldigging.net/devils-dyke-sussex-hill-forts/).
    Any ideas?

I should explain further – the digitaldigging page displays a map under the title, not a header, but on other posts where the ‘featured image’ is selected, I still get the image *under* the title – https://digitaldigging.net/danebury-ring-hill-fort-fortress-builders/

Normally I’d be fine with this, but I’m shortly launching a series of interviews, and I’d like a common graphic to appear above the title for those pages.

Otherwise Alex, I have no complaints at all with your very impressive work.
