    Hello,

I’m trying to find a resolution for a client and am wondering if this plugin would work.My client owns a lawncare company with 6 different geographical locations. They want the customers to be able to fill in a contact form and per the zipcode, have that customers information go to different databases which will be the six different geographical locations. So basically have a list of zip codes tied into the six different databases for the collection of each customers information. So I’m asking, would this plugin be able to direct zip codes to different databases? Hopefully I’ve explained this well.

Would this be possible with this plugin?

    thanks

I don’t think multiple databases are needed for that. I mean I understand the logic, but in practice, it’s much better to use one database and use the zipcodes to filter the records based on location. If you ever wanted to aggregate the data over the whole company, you wouldn’t want them in separate databases, it’s just a lot less efficient. The plugin doesn’t support multiple databases, anyway.

Thanks for the quick reply. That does make sense what your’e saying but ultimately I’ll have to check with the client and see if this will suffice for them.

    Thanks again,
    Chad
