• I’ve been using Edit Flow for a couple weeks now, and it was great. But suddenly today the “schedule” function is gone! I can publish a post, but I can’t schedule it. And if it was already marked as scheduled and I update it, it now publishes it live. This is quite problematic!

    What happened?

Interestingly, I’ve narrowed the issue down a bit – it’s a little quirkier, even, than just “the scheduling function doesn’t exist.”

I can write a bran-new post, and schedule it, and that works fine. But if I try to edit an existing post of any status, I cannot set it as scheduled. (It might appear that I can, but when I click the button it actually sets it to published.)

Few questions that might help track this down further…

    • Did you update any plugins when the “schedule” button disappeared?
    • What other plugins are running? Does the issue persist when they’re disabled?
    • How far in the future do you try to schedule your posts?
    • Can you share a series of screenshots that walk through the bug?
