Thumbnails & Captions – Formatting for descriptions

Hi

WP 3.7.1 NGG 2.0.40 – using thumbnail gallery with NextGEN: gallery-caption.php template

Just wondering how to get all the description text to sit directly underneath each thumbnail directly and not extend past the thumbnail size. eg 3 columns have 3 thumbnails and 3 descriptions drectly underneath but the text does not run into each other but stays the same size as thumbnail and creates a second line of text.

If I set the columns up to 2 the descriptions extend even further.

Trust this makes sense.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
