Basic Compact View, 404 error, permalinks

I’ve inserted an album of galleries in “Basic Compact” view on to a page and when I click the thumbnail to access the gallery I 404 error.

I changed permalinks back to the default and it works fine….. takes me to the gallery page with thumbnails and all everything works perfect.

I will be registering this as a bug, but I thought I would post it here incase there is a quick fix.
