short code is messing up html

    this is the text I put in the editor :

    some of the span tags are rendered inside the short code brackets and the results is that on the web site it is rendered as text like : [description]Taking great care of your skin[/description].
    If i manualy move the span tags from within the brackets of the short code it works as expected but it is manual and not viable because every change I make I need to go back to text and look for the mistakes…
    Please advise.
