link slider buttons to something else

  • is it possible to change the link of a slider button so that it will route/link to a post-category or an external site? i can only choose single internal pages and single posts.

  • The theme author posted recently that he was working on adding this functionality – at least for internal link targets such as anchors.

    I believe there’s something coming in 3.1.0 to help, otherwise you’d need to change code

    unfortunality as what i have seen from data in sql tables… it uses IDs there only. so the mainfunction for that button has to be changed so that anything will be read from that optionentry in sql tables (like a complete url)

    i would change code if somebody points me near the right position (which file and line or keycommand) ??

    3.1.0 should be out in the next week or so. Will publish a Snippet against that version if needed.

    I have found easy stupid solution this problem. Create a dummy page then set the page to 301 redirect to anyway you want. Make sure your page is noindex. Link the dummy page to slider problem solve without coding. ??
