Links in Long Description area not displaying on live page.

    Hello! I love this plugin! I am having an issue, though, with placing links within the text of the long description. On the backend, there are links that have been placed within the list, but when you look at the live site, there are no links displaying within the description. The link that was added from the Listing Fields do work. How do I make the listings work in the description?

    Here’s an example: https://ithacafork.com/business-directory/96/bandwagon/

    Autumns’ Harvest, Ithaca Beer, Lively Run, West Haven Farm, and Kenton’s Cheese Co should all be internal links.

    I also tried an external link as a test, and that did not work either. Just FYI. ??

    Hi FlourishDesignStudio,

    First, are you using version 3.2.3 of BD?

    If you are, then I have good news–this is an easy thing to fix with a quick setting. Go under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields and edit the field for long description. Check the option “Allow HTML in field” which is off by default (for security reasons). That should allow links to show up in anchor tags.

    If you’re not yet on BD 3.2.3, I would strongly recommend upgrading ??
