Front Page – Blog summaries?

Hi. Love the theme and thank you!

Maybe this is beacuse I only have a few articles posted, but I was wondering if there was a way of having the front page display a short version of each post instead of the whole thing. I only have three ~1100 word articles up and the page has gotten extremely long….not to mention it loads slower…

By putting up summaries, it would
– load the front page faster
– encourage people to click the title and navigate to the article page (Another issue is that comments is buried in fine print after the tags at the bottom of the article)
– A quick-review mechanism so that they can see where they left off and whatnot

Was wondering if there is a function for shortening the articles displayed on the front page…
