I am using Gravity Forms Registration Add On to create a custom registration form for a Buddypress site. Cimy Swift SMTP works great for the default bp registration form but when I use the Gravity Forms plugin it reverts to the php sendmail.
Is there a way to prioritize Cimy Swift SMTP to send all mail including these Gravity Forms notifications or can I de-prioritize the send mail somehow?

I may have found the answer but just want to confirm. By clicking the radio button “Always overwrite the sender” does this assure that all mail goes out via SMTP?

The plugin is just overwriting the default way of WordPress to send email, using the SMTP server of your choice.
As soon as it is enabled, the plug-in does that.

If other plug-ins hard coded their way of sending emails not using the WordPress default method then I don’t know.
