Feature images are not displayed in posts

  • Hello,

    Till yesterday everything was working fine. When i used to upload a feature image, in the thumbnail, it used to show the dimensions of the image and I can publish posts with out any issues. But from today when i upload no dimensions are displayed in the thumbnail, which means when u set that as featured image, it wont display on he posts. To check the image i clicked Edit Imge, again it came an error that “Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image”. Both issues are related that is confirmed from the scenario. If i select an image already uploaded in the Media LIbrary it works. Please help, I have only 4 plugins, I have tried disabling and all. How the issues started all of sudden when everything was working fine till yestreday, please please advice.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Hello, thanks for the suggestion, switching to default theme resolved the issue, now what shd I do as i need to use the theme which I already have.

    I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here.
